*Remembering those we’ve Loved*

That’s Frida, a very loved and cherished pet that used to go riding with her person often in places they both loved. When Frida crossed over he took her ashes to one of those places, scattered them and threw out poppy seeds. Now when he goes back there the entire hillside is covered in poppies and he knows they’re reminders of his beloved Frida. When he contacted me to create a horn cap for a custom saddle he was having made he wanted Frida to ride with him again. You’ll notice at the bottom of Frida’s image is a tiny Poppy and a Heart. Now she rides with him again and it’s a very special way to honor her. Anything is possible.

*Hair In Cabochon Conchos*

The cabochons in these conchos contain the hair of my customer as well as hairs from a beloved horse that has passed away along with hair from the horse she shows now. This can be done for nearly any loved one or animal that you want to keep close. Contact me for possibilities.

These conchos help a close friend remember her mom that loved Turtles. They were done for a headstall so they get to ride together again as well.

Custom Urns can hold anyone beloved that has passed in a beautiful original way and can be embellished with many options such as the crystal seen on Carly’s. Email for info.

These custom memorial pieces feature the hair of the beloved horse fired right into the stoneware as well as being part of the custom tassel. This can be done for a horse, person, or even dog though the different textures of hair create different effects.

“The Gate”

This mosaic tile piece is very special to me because it is from a picture of my first Whippet and Greyhound standing at the arena gate as I was working one of my horses. They’d do this every day and it was so sweet that I finally took a picture of them there. They’re gone now but this mosaic hangs over my bed as a reminder of what the ‘gate’ to beyond must look like. Though now it’s a bit more crowded… This can be done with any gate and any of your special loved ones.
